IMPORTANT
-
Voucher funds cannot be used to pay for additional child care fees such as late pickups, missed sign in/out logs, or diaper fees. Parents/guardians are personally responsible for those costs.

-
No refunds are given for DWFS or voucher funds not used. Voucher funds do not roll over from semester to semester. Whatever funds are unused may be distributed to other voucher eligible students.
Voucher Program
Our voucher program helps income eligible SLCC students pay for their child care. The voucher can be used at the South City, Jordan, and/or Eccles (Taylorsville) Campus child care centers at SLCC. Pell Grant eligible students can be awarded up to $1, 600 in child care assistance per semester.

Voucher assistance is based on SAI (Student Aid Index), the age of the child(ren) enrolled in child care, and the number of credits hours you are taking at Salt Lake Community College.

Even if you are not eligible for a pell grant, you may be eligible for our voucher program based on your income - we encourage you to apply!

NOTE: The voucher must be applied for with each new semester. Any changes to your student status must be reported to office staff, including any changes in credit hours or if you are no longer taking classes. Child care balances are still owed regardless of voucher eligibility and applications do not roll over from semester to semester.
IMPORTANT
-
Voucher funds will not be applied to the account until the first add/drop day of the semester.

-
You may need to make the first payment of tuition charged to your account.

-
SLCC voucher funds are only applicable to current SLCC students who have determined eligibility.
