NUTRITION INFORMATION

Snacks and lunches are served in accordance with nutritional requirements of CACFP (Child and Adult Care Food Program). The Tim & Brenda Huval Child Care Center serves breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack. The basic tuition paid for a child to attend the center covers all meals served. Lunches are catered through Head Start. All children attending the center during the hours of meal service will be served. Meals are provided at the times listed. Parents can request a snack for a child arriving at the center after the times of meal service by speaking with a teacher or office personnel. The serving schedule is also located on the parent board along with the lunch and breakfast/snack menus. We request that no outside food is brought into the classroom unless there is a celebration or activity, and then it must be store bought and in the original packaging. Please check with the teacher before bringing classroom snacks or treats.

Infants are provided formula, baby cereal and fruit or vegetables as is age appropriate.
